On the 13th of September, WeatherEvents.net embarked on a 9 day UK wide tour, with Dr Liz Bentley and Rachael Fordham (in convoy with their VW campervan).  The aim of the tour was to launch the Royal Meteorological Society's new UK Weather Club, with the Great British Weather Experiment.

The WeatherEvents.net mobile weather lab recorded the official weather measurements for the experiment, whilst simultaneously webcasting the live weathercam from 13 locations around England, Wales and Scotland.  The weathercam was featured on both the Society's and the Weather Club's website.  

The cities visited included:

• Manchester
• Stockport
• Sheffield
• Newcastle
• Edinburgh
• Glasgow
