Atlantic Storm, 8th November 2010 PDF Print E-mail

On the 8th of November 2010, a potent extratropical cyclone developed along an unusual track, down the west coast of the United Kingdom.  The system was forecast to bring widespread gale force South-Easterly winds, along with heavy rainfall, to many parts of the United Kingdom.

WeatherEvents.net deployed the mobile weather lab on the coast on the Firth of Forth, near North Berwick to record weather data as well as webcast the live WeatherCam images onto Netweather.tv.

Following is a short time-lapse video produced from the weathecam images, along with sample images from the weathercam.
